This is to remind you that in line with Section 112(e) of the Fourth Schedule of the Public Health Act, 2012 (ACT 851) and the recommendation of the Food and Drugs Authority's Technical Advisory Committee on Nutrition, The FDA has started full implementation of the Provisions of the Codex Alimentarius Guidelines relating to Nutrition.
THE FDA MISSION
The FDA exist to ensure the safety, quality and efficacy of human and veterinary drugs, food, biological products, cosmetics, medical devices, household chemical substances and clinical trials, and the control of tobacco products through the enforcement of relevant standards to protect public health.
