FDA GHANA STAFF DONATE TO COVID-19 NATIONAL TRUST FUND

The Governing Board, Management and Staff have donated an amount of Thirty Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHc 30,000.00) to the Covid-19 Fund.

This is in support of the fund which was established by His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, to aid in the management of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The donation was made by the Board Chairman of the FDA, Dr. Sammy Ohene and the Chief Executive Officer, Mrs. Delese Darko.

In presenting the money, Dr. Ohene stated that the contribution is from the Governing Board, Management and Staff of the Food and Drugs Authority to support the President initiative of curbing the spread of the coronavirus in Ghana. He added that, it is his fervent hope that the donation will go a long way to support the general populace.

The amount was received by Archbishop Justice Ofei Akrofi, on behalf of the Covid-19 Trust Fund. Justice Ofei Akrofi thanked the FDA for the gesture.
