The website is updated regularly. Information that has been approved by the Chief Executive Officer is uploaded on the website; these are received from various departments within the Food and Drugs Authority.
Communicating with FDA
By completing forms on our website or sending us your information through other electronic media, the information is used by the FDA for regulatory purposes and other functions. The FDA may Share the information you provide with another institution if it relates to that institution. The FDA does not use such information for purposes other than regulatory purposes and statutory functions.
Sharing sensitive personal information such as date of birth via non-secured online mediums is not recommended. The FDA wishes to inform you that Emails and other online means of communicating with us are not secured unless it is specifically stated on our web pages.
Pursuant to the DATA PROTECTION ACT, 2012 (ACT 843) and statutes for which the Minister of Health is responsible, personal information from emails, information from forms are collected for statistical, evaluation, and reporting purposes.

The Food and Drugs Authority further extends its presence on the web via third-party service providers such as social media. These third-party service providers have terms of service and privacy policies, we therefore recommend that users who interact with us via social media and any other third-party applications be informed on the terms and policies. Comments that violates our rules of engagement will also be deleted.
