CEO OF FDA NOMINATED FOR 60 TOP WOMEN CORPORATE LEADERS AWARD

The Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) wishes to congratulate the Acting Chief Executive Officer,  Mrs. Delese  Mimi A. A Darko, for her nomination as one of the award winners in the “2017 WomanRising Top 60 Women Corporate Leaders in Ghana”.

The List, which is made up of women heading various outstanding Organizations in the Country was compiled by the African Network of Entrepreneurs (TANOE).

Mr. Ekow Mensah, CEO of TANOE, in a speech, said they at TANOE, are of the opinion that as Ghana celebrates her attainment of 60th Independence Anniversary, it is prudent to recognize and celebrate the achievements of 60 of the most outstanding, inspiring and hardworking Corporate women leaders in Ghana as these exceptional women work their hearts out daily and contribute immeasurably to the economic development of Ghana. Thus, celebrating Ghana without celebrating them will be an unforgivable error.

He also said TANOE is proud of the 60 nominated women who are Heads and Business Leaders and believe their exploits and stories will inspire the next generation of women business leaders not only for Ghana but for Africa and the rest of the world.

The award is slated for the upcoming 2017 CEO’s summit on the 19th October, 2017 at the Movenpick Ambasador Hotel, Accra.

The FDA is proud of its first Woman Leader, the Acting CEO of the Authority and wishes her the best as she continues to work hard to make the FDA the Centre of Regulatory Excellence on the African Continent. May she continue to achieve laurels
