The Chief Executive takes executive responsibility for operational management, service delivery and strategic issues of the FDA (Food and Drugs Authority) Ghana. The office of the Chief Executive has these directorates and centers reporting directly to it:
- · Internal Audit Directorate,
- · Business Development, Monitoring and Evaluation Directorate,
- · Finance Directorate,
- · Centre for Import and Export Control,
- · Centre for Laboratory Services and Research, and
- · Regional Offices.
Under the Chief Executive are four Specialized Divisions, namely; Food Division, Health Products and Technologies Division, Technical Operations, and Corporate Services Division
